Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was the first novel I read during the during the pandemic shutdown. I loved the multi-genre aspect of the book. In some ways it reminded me of Ender’s Game but on steroids and with a deeper personal aspect to the story.
I loved the humor in this novel. Especially the banter between Kady and Ezra. The authors use the multi-genre aspect to further the plot and to introduce dramatic irony. I look forward to reading the other books in this series.
