The ever elusive Kim Gordon writes a memoir. Is she reserved and standoffish? I’ve read a few reviews that felt she was still restrained but o don’t really agree. She talked about love, family, heartache. I think she remains honestly sublime..My takeaway experience from reading this book is a glimpse into her life and lifestyle. The art scene in New York and her dislike of today’s “echo esthetic“ of the same national chains on every block all over today’s consumeristic society helps to define her love of the city as it was in the 80s.
