The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Addie is cursed to have endless amounts of time and to be untethered to other humans. No one remembers Addie until finally one person does.

What does your life mean? How can you leave a mark? What if you are doomed to be forgotten, is life meaningful?

This story weaves philosophical themes into the plot that gives Addie boundless time while everyone else she encounters is bound by the mortality of human life.

In the end, we all have to fulfill the promises we make and if we don’t, there might be a deeper price to pay. While Schwab’s book has two progressive timelines, the focus on three main characters keeps the overall timeline simpler and easier to follow.

I love that the book feels finished but is still open in the sense of what happens to the characters afterward. A sequel could be interesting. This is the first I’ve read by Schwab and I plan on reading others.
