Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kaz and his group must first free the Wraith then fight back against Van Eck for not holding up his end of the business deal.

Bardugo writing gas an urgency & momentum. The action, espionage and quick-witted barbs are fun. The characters are interesting and the hints of romance don’t overwhelm the overall pace of the plot.

Crazy quote:
“They remembered the quarantines, the terror that came with even the most basic human contact.”
